New families to our school are asked to make an appointment to meet with the Deputy Principal for an enrolment interview. During the interview the school routines and rules will be explained and student information details will be discussed. If your student has special needs and/or a diagnosed disability please mention this when making an appointment. Students from overseas, interstate or from private schools should provide other information to support their enrolment at our school. School reports and work folders from previous schools assist us to support your child in the best possible way.
Prep enrolments are usually taken in term 3 for the following year. Please contact the school around July to indicate interest and you will be invited to our Open Classroom and other special Prep events. View the Department's prep ready reckoner calculator to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year.
Local families considering changing schools are asked to consider the 'Lets Stay Put' initiative, which encourages parents and carers to make the commitment to stay at one school for at least a year.
Bardon Road Behaviour Unit enrolment is through referral and local intake processes and runs independently to Berrinba East State School.
